Home of Christ Church in Newark

We're a community with people of all ages. Some of us are committed in the faith. Some of us are cautious,
yet curious. And others of us are somewhat skeptical. Wherever you are on the journey, we hope that you feel
welcomed and at home in our church.

We all dress fairly casually and you can feel free to do the same. When you come,
you can expect that we'll have some acoustic music, some time for prayer, and some teaching from the
Scriptures. We also have Sunday School for the kids. A typical worship gathering is a little over 1 hour.

We invite you to feel free to participate in worship or to just listen and observe. Either way, we welcome you.

About Children's Sunday School
Kid's are an important part of our community. Jesus himself personally
welcomed children into his arms. And we want to help them grow,
develop and have fun doing it. The philosophy we go by with kids is
"together when possible, separate when necessary." So we encourage
families to sit together as we sing. Right after the music, we'll dismiss
the kids. You can lead your kids to their Sunday School classrooms
where they'll learn and have fun. After the message (about 30 minutes),
you can pick up your kids to join in on the singing again.
